Popping up in MKE.
Spruce, a women's and men's apparel pop-up shop hit Milwaukee this month. Located just outside of the Historic Third Ward, they transformed a previously empty space into a designer apparel boutique full of what I wish my closet could look like. Spruce hosted a welcome event and opened their doors on March 2nd and will remain here for six weeks to see how Milwaukee responds to their vision.
This is not the first I've heard of Spruce, however. Their permanent store resides in Fish Creek, Door County. As many of us Milwaukeeans do during the summer, I love to visit Door County to enjoy the small lake town vibes and Spruce is always one of my stops. Spruce is unlike anything else up there and, honestly, here. While their pop-up space definitely hits more in a higher price range, there are a range of prices and styles. The clothes are clean and simple, but each piece is unique and certainly not something you'd find everywhere else. They keep the racks light with more sizes in the back and the decor minimalistic, but perfect. Spruce presents a mix of industrial, organic, and natural within their clothes and their space.
Let's give them some love so we can keep them around. Welcome to Milwaukee, Spruce!
